Filipinism

Filipinism had been a part of Filipino culture and can be called our own English interpretation that only us Filipinos can understand. Filipinism continuously developed new languages and been past down to our current generations.

Although we can all agreed that Filipinism was already part of Filipino interpretation of English language, Filipinism can’t be used in a formal business meeting specially to a foreigner who speaks native English. Mistakes like that must be corrected early on so future generations will understand the proper use of English language. The language can’t be use specially in a formal job interview as the employer will view this as a reflection of your own speaking skills.

English must be taught properly to future generations so this misinterpretation would discontinue. Having the proper knowledge of your client’s native language would give you an advantage in job searching specially if you are freelancer, as the common clients to online jobs was foreigners with English as their native tongue. When clients conduct an interview for freelancer, usually it was done on video call, from the start of the interview they were already observing and listening properly on how you speak. That is why its important that you learned the proper grammar in using the universal language.
